With an impressive career spanning over 15 years in music and live events, Gemma has built a strong name across the Northern music scene. Starting her career as a DJ and promoter, she quickly gained a reputation for curating unforgettable club nights turned international events. However, her passion always lay within the grassroots music network, which led her to a role as a rural touring network consultant, bringing renowned acts to areas of the UK often overlooked on a typical touring route.
Her innovative leadership style was then recognised by promoter agency Cuffe and Taylor, where she played a pivotal role in programming for major festivals such as Lytham Festival and Scarborough Open Air Theatre. She also managed tours for legendary artists Rod Stewart, Britney Spears, Nile Rodgers, and Mariah Carey, delivering a history-making headline booking of Britney Spears in Scarborough that broke the internet and solidified Cuffe and Taylor’s meteoric rise, leading to its acquisition by the Live Nation family.
After starting as the Sales and Marketing Director in 2023, Gemma is today the General Manager of the AO Arena in Manchester. As one of the UK’s largest indoor arenas, Gemma continues to champion world-class live entertainment while driving new innovations in programming, partnerships, and fan experience.
