Mason’s role with AXS revolves around proactive service and ensuring success of AXS’ sports partners with a focus on growth in the sports vertical.
Currently in his 25th year with AEG, Mason previously led the LA Kings ticketing team as SVP, Ticket Sales, Service, and Operations where the team set revenue and attendance records including a 297-game sell-out streak and won the NHL Stanley Award for Ticket Sales Initiative of the Year in 2023. While continuing to grow the Kings ticket base with innovative product offerings and cutting-edge sales strategies, Mason pushed the envelope in service and retention to achieve record renewal rates and produce impactful service initiatives and events. While with the Kings, Mason shepherded the execution of out of market, international, and outdoor games as well as NHL special events. As an AXS client, Mason was instrumental in the development of the AXS Anywhere platform and various partnerships that are paramount to AXS’ current offerings.
Mason’s tenure with AEG has included stints contributing to the success of numerous events and properties such as the LA Galaxy, Ontario Reign, Eisbaren Berlin, the Amgen Tour of California, The GRAMMY Museum, Regal Cinemas at L.A. LIVE, championship boxing, MLL Lacross, WTA Tennis, International soccer, track and field, numerous family shows, award shows, and more. The Los Angeles native graduated from NYU and currently resides in Redondo Beach with his wife and their three boys.
