Executive Summary

The Tennessee Titans have introduced a forward thinking, mobile first Season Ticket Member Hub that redefines what a premium ticketing and membership experience can be within professional sports.

Built using the Rover Platform, the Hub transforms the team’s mobile app into a dedicated membership destination where season ticket members can seamlessly access tickets, seating details, exclusive benefits, account support, member only offers, and personalized communications within a single elevated environment. Rather than functioning as a static service touchpoint, the experience continuously adapts to each member’s lifecycle stage, tenure, and engagement behavior.

What makes this a compelling New Premium Concept is its evolution from traditional ticketing and membership infrastructure into an always on digital concierge experience. The Hub is designed not simply to surface information, but to enhance the overall premium member journey, further understand member preferences, strengthen retention, and reinforce the value of membership throughout the season.

The addition of Rover Posts has further elevated the experience by introducing real time, in app long-form communications that support renewals, exclusive access opportunities, member only sweepstakes, and service touchpoints. Combined with live fan data and push notification visibility through Fan Profile, the Titans are able to activate highly personalized premium experiences with precision and scale.

By transforming season ticket membership into a living, mobile first environment, the Titans have established a new benchmark for premium ticketing, member service, and hospitality driven fan engagement.

Detailed Nomination

The Tennessee Titans identified a significant opportunity to elevate the Season Ticket Member journey by moving beyond fragmented service touchpoints and building a premium digital destination designed specifically for their most valuable audience.

Historically, membership communication and service workflows existed across disconnected channels, including email, service representatives, static webpages, and ticketing portals. While functional, these systems created friction and lacked the continuity, exclusivity, and elevated service experience expected by today’s premium sports fans. Too often, high value members were required to move between multiple platforms to access tickets, benefits, account support, exclusive offers, and renewal communications, creating an experience that felt transactional rather than premium.

The objective was to reimagine membership as a seamless, mobile first environment that could centralize ticketing, benefits, service, and communication while strengthening retention and increasing the perceived value of membership throughout the full lifecycle.

The result was a fully integrated Season Ticket Member Hub housed within the Titans’ mobile app. The experience consolidates ticket access, seating details, member benefits, premium offers, renewal touchpoints, account services, and exclusive communications into a single personalized destination, significantly reducing friction while elevating the overall membership experience.

What sets this apart as a New Premium Concept is its role as an always on concierge layer rather than a transactional ticketing utility.

Members are no longer simply accessing tickets. They are entering a branded, personalized environment that supports every stage of the lifecycle, from onboarding and benefit discovery to renewal, exclusive activations, and ongoing white glove service support. The Hub was intentionally designed to feel less like a tool and more like an extension of the club’s premium membership services team.

A defining innovation within the Hub is the implementation of Rover Posts as a persistent in app communication layer. This enables the Titans to deliver timely, personalized messaging tied directly to critical membership moments, including renewal reminders, service communications, member only sweepstakes, and exclusive access opportunities.

Because these communications live directly within the member experience, the environment feels curated, contextual, and immediate, creating a more premium and hospitality driven digital journey. This has allowed the team to strengthen engagement by meeting members where they already engage, rather than relying on fragmented external channels.

The performance metrics reinforce the effectiveness of this model. Renewal reminder Posts sent to nearly 10,000 non-renewed members generated a 12.6% open rate, while communications sent to nearly 5,000 already renewed members drove a 14.3% open rate. Rates significantly higher than traditional renewal emails. These campaigns directly supported retention efforts by keeping renewal messaging embedded within the premium membership environment itself, reinforcing value and reducing drop off across the renewal cycle.

The Hub has also proven highly effective in driving exclusive member engagement initiatives. During a recent member only sweepstakes campaign, push notifications sent to 2.2K opted-in Season Ticket Members generated a 15.1% open rate. In parallel, Rover Posts delivered the same exclusive activation to an additional 4.1K members not yet opted into push, ensuring broad membership reach while maintaining a highly personalized experience.

This demonstrates how the Hub functions as both a service and revenue retention tool, enabling the Titans to activate ticket members at scale while preserving the exclusivity and white glove feel expected of premium membership programs.

The integration with Fan Profile further elevates the experience by enabling real time visibility into audience behaviors, including push notification opt in status and engagement signals. This has allowed the Titans to segment audiences with precision, support member service workflows, and operationalize targeted campaigns across renewal, loyalty, and premium activation efforts.

From a guest experience perspective, the Hub has significantly improved how members access their tickets, understand their benefits, communicate with the club, and engage with exclusive opportunities, strengthening satisfaction, long term retention, and the perceived value of membership.

Beyond the Titans, this initiative contributes meaningfully to the advancement of the premium hospitality sector by redefining the role of the mobile app within ticketing and membership services.

Rather than functioning as a simple ticket wallet, the app becomes a premium digital destination that mirrors the white glove expectations of high value membership and hospitality programs.

This work establishes a new benchmark for how sports organizations can blend ticketing, retention strategy, premium service, personalization, and measurable member engagement into a single experience that continuously evolves with the member.
