RA – Principal
Ryan is an architect with a passion for conceiving well-branded and immersive sports, live music entertainment, and hospitality environments. Since joining the firm in 2012, he has contributed to a diverse range of projects for some of the nation’s leading venues. Ryan capitalizes on his theater background to develop spaces that, like well-curated stage sets, are dramatic, memorable, and tell a story.
His design thinking has been paramount in the strengthening of Live Nation’s Fillmore brand, having designed four Fillmore theaters in cities across the U.S., as well as the major renovation to Irving Plaza in NYC. Ryan played a key role in the master plan redevelopment of Belmont Park, which repositions Belmont as a year-round, destination entertainment district.
Ryan believes that great design can transform everyday buildings and landscapes into meaningful moments. His work focuses on sensory experiences, creating environments that are emotionally resonant.
He holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Architecture from Lehigh University, with minors in Business and Theater.
