Senior Manager, Venue Business & Analytics
Brendan Philbin joined the NHL’s Finance team in 2017 and currently serves as Senior Manager, Venue Business & Analytics. Brendan and his team work directly with all 32 Clubs to deliver reporting, insights, and best practices across all aspects of the gameday fan experience – including food and beverage, guest experience, parking, and collaborating with the League’s Premium Seating Sales & Service team. Beyond the concourse, the Venue Business team works closely with arena operators, League partners, and third-party vendors to promote best-in-class renovations and implement innovative solutions for back-of-house operations. From NHL arenas to practice facilities, Brendan and his team serve as a resource for Clubs in supporting business operations across the entire NHL venue portfolio.
In his role as Senior Manager, Brendan oversees all data and analytics efforts for the Venue Business team, combining a lifelong passion for analytics with nearly a decade of professional sports experience at the League office.
Prior to joining the NHL, Brendan graduated from Stonehill College with a B.S. in Economics and earned his M.S. in Business Analytics from Baruch College.
