John A. Bisignano Jr. is a seasoned sports executive with over 30 years of experience in business development. He is the President and Founder of Biz Sports, an Orlando-based boutique firm specializing in collegiate athletics and partnerships. John is a skilled negotiator with a diverse background in securing profitable business, sponsorship, and organizational alliances.
As the former President and CEO of the Central Florida Sports Commission, John led the group’s reinvention, integrating new venue development efforts in the region. His strategic plan boosted national and international sports tourism, generating significant economic impact across Central Florida’s five-county area.
Before his role at the Sports Commission, John was instrumental in the creation and development of the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. This state-of-the-art facility set the stage for rapid growth in sports tourism.
John’s greatest strength lies in building lasting relationships with his clients. His extensive portfolio includes programming deals with numerous national governing bodies (NGBs) of the Olympic Movement, the NCAA, and intercollegiate conferences. He also served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the National Association of Sports Commissions in 2006-2007 and was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2018.
Currently, John is part of the Four One Team, focusing on enhancing fan experiences and bringing brands to life at events through unique and engaging experiences.
An experienced speaker and facilitator, John has delivered numerous presentations at sports and sales conferences, industry trade shows, and educational institutions. He is dedicated to mentoring future leaders, helping them build meaningful relationships that will make a difference in the sports industry.
