Independent Consultant, Partnerships Strategy
After taking an intentional career break to enjoy the mountains of NE Georgia, she began her independent consulting journey in September and has since been working with the National Women’s Soccer League, supporting the partnerships team on organizational evolution, growth of existing partnerships, and development of new business.
Prior to this new chapter, Kelly led the Partnership Marketing team at the U.S. Soccer Federation and played an integral role in building the partnerships vertical as the organization brought their commercial rights in-house and capitalized on the incredible momentum surrounding the growth of soccer in the U.S.
Previously, she held leadership roles focused on partnerships and strategic marketing at the NBA (TMBO), NBC Sport,s and the New York Mets.
A native Floridian, she received her undergraduate degree from Florida Southern College and then went onto grad school at UCF’s DeVos Sports Business Management Program, serving as a Graduate Assistant to the great, Dr. Bill Sutton.
Kelly has recently made the move to Fishtown, Philadelphia, with her other half, Brian Fling, and very spoiled dog, Corky.
