Melissa Heiter is an Executive Vice President of CAA ICON, A division of leading entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA), CAA ICON is the industry’s-leading owner’s representative and strategic management consulting firm for public and private sports and entertainment facility owners/operators, professional franchises, and leagues. With more than 100 sports, entertainment, and public assembly projects and over 2,500 consulting engagements, CAA ICON has managed the development of many of the most successful venues around the world with experience spanning 11 professional sports leagues and over $45 billion over the last 21 years in business. CAA ICON offers world-class service in the areas of feasibility and planning, project management, and consulting.
Melissa has been with CAA ICON since its inception in 2004, and has been essential in the company’s explosive growth from start-up to industry leader. Her responsibilities include business development through forging industry relationships and pursuing new clients, brand and image management, media and PR strategies and placements, and overall marketing and communications for all of CAA ICON. Melissa’s work has been vital in the evolution of CAA ICON over the past two decades, including the acquisition of what was then called ICON Venue Group by CAA in March 2016.
Melissa has also been involved in the design and construction of some of the most exciting venues in the world including Intuit Dome in Inglewood, New Nissan Stadium in Nashville, the restoration of Wrigley Field in Chicago, Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, and The O2 in London. She graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Journalism and Technical Communication.
