Director, Ticketing
Paula Urban serves as the Director of Ticketing for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, one of the largest and most iconic events in the nation. In this role, she leads all aspects of ticketing operations, including the sale and distribution of stadium tickets for the 20-day event. Her responsibilities encompass managing over 40,000 season tickets, as well as premium inventory such as suites, all-inclusive clubs, and single-show tickets.
Since joining the Rodeo in 1991, Paula has developed an exceptional depth of knowledge about both the ticketing department and its diverse clientele. Her decades of experience have made her an invaluable resource within the organization and a trusted leader across departments.
With a detail-driven approach and a deep understanding of complex ticketing systems, Paula ensures a seamless experience for both Rodeo guests and internal stakeholders. Her strategic leadership supports the Rodeo’s mission by maximizing ticket revenue and providing world-class service to patrons.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Paula is deeply involved in her local community. She serves on her city’s Board as Treasurer, where she contributes her expertise in financial oversight and civic engagement. A passionate Christmas enthusiast, Paula is known for putting up more than 50 Christmas trees each holiday season—a tradition that brings joy to everyone around her. Beloved by her colleagues, neighbors, and friends, Paula is a valued member of every community she touches.
