In response to the devastating 2025 wildfires across Los Angeles, the Crypto.com Arena Premium Team launched a wide-reaching fire relief initiative that blended compassion, action, and hospitality to support affected communities and honor first responders.
By activating key partnerships with the LA Kings and LA Galaxy, the team coordinated donation drives, volunteer efforts, and memorable guest experiences—all rooted in service and solidarity. Staff joined the LA Galaxy and Dignity Health Sports Park for a multi-day donation event supporting the YMCA Koreatown Fire Relief Resource Center, delivering essentials like hygiene kits, baby supplies, and blankets. Simultaneously, the Premium Team supported the LA Kings’ large-scale donation drive at the Toyota Sports Performance Center, helping sort and prepare over 200,000 items for wildfire victims.
To recognize frontline heroes, the Premium Team hosted over 250 firefighters and their families in premium suites during two Lakers home games, including a tribute-filled night honoring Lakers legend Michael Cooper, a native of an impacted community.
Capping off the effort, the team partnered with the LA Kings to donate 37 suites for the “Skate for LA Strong” celebrity hockey game at Crypto.com Arena. The star-studded charity event featured Justin Bieber, Steve Carell, Snoop Dogg, Cammi Granato, and live performances by Kaskade and more.
This initiative showed how premium teams can lead with heart and purpose—mobilizing resources, elevating partners, and bringing people together in times of need. It set a powerful example of how premium hospitality can serve not just guests, but entire communities.

Overview
The Crypto.com Arena Premium Team’s LA Fire Relief efforts in 2025 were developed as an immediate, intentional response to one of the most destructive wildfire seasons in recent California history. Recognizing the scale of the crisis, the team moved swiftly to activate the venue’s resources—premium suites, team partnerships, and people—to serve the city in tangible and lasting ways.
Innovation & Impact
What made this effort stand out was the team’s layered, cross-functional approach. They went beyond symbolic gestures and developed a series of activations that integrated community service across every aspect of their premium operations.
It began with an internal donation drive, followed by a larger collaboration with the LA Galaxy and Dignity Health Sports Park. Over two days, Premium Team members joined volunteers at a community event supporting the YMCA Koreatown Fire Relief Resource Center—collecting, organizing, and distributing hundreds of urgently needed items including hygiene products, baby supplies, and masks.
From January 13–17, the Premium Team also supported the LA Kings’ expansive donation drive at the Toyota Sports Performance Center. Over 200,000 essential items were collected, sorted, and prepared for fire-affected families across the region. Premium staff provided on-site operational support, contributing to a smooth and impactful event that received widespread media attention.
To honor first responders, the team partnered with the Lakers and JW Marriott to host over 250 firefighters and their families in premium suites during two home games. The January 13 game carried additional meaning as it coincided with the jersey retirement of Lakers legend Michael Cooper, a native of Altadena—one of the communities hardest hit by the fires. Cooper’s remarks that evening connected the ceremony to the broader theme of community resilience, creating an emotional moment of gratitude and unity.
On February 23, the team partnered with the LA Kings to donate 37 premium suites for the “Skate for LA Strong” celebrity charity game at Crypto.com Arena. The event brought together athletes, entertainers, and first responders for an evening of fundraising, remembrance, and celebration. Celebrity participants included Justin Bieber, Steve Carell, Rob Blake, and Cammi Granato, with coaching appearances by Danny DeVito, Will Ferrell, Snoop Dogg, and Al Michaels. Live performances by Kaskade, Jordan Davis, and Lauren Spencer Smith capped off the night, turning the arena into a citywide moment of collective support.
